Rounding up The Best Healthy Recipes to help you eat great but cut calories in the New Year! If you need healthy recipe ideas that will actually still taste good, then you will love this list of recipes.
It is that time of year! Time to burn off those holiday sweets and eat better! I honestly don’t mind eating healthier meals, but you will never find me eating plain grilled chicken and steamed vegetables. I prefer healthy recipes that are still full of flavor and texture and interesting ingredients.
Need 21 Day Fix Recipes? I have two popular round ups!
Healthy eating shouldn’t be painful or make you feel like you are missing out, so I have rounded up my favorite easy healthy recipes that will leave you feeling satisfied and not deprived of all the good stuff! Some of these recipes aren’t the classic healthy food recipes, and that’s why I love them. The lasagna stuffed chicken wouldn’t be considered a health food, but when compared to the traditional carb loaded lasagna, it is a much healthier choice!
I have so many favorites here that I don’t think I could choose an absolute best healthy recipe, but I would definitely recommend starting with the baked chimichanga recipe! It satisfies your Mexican food cravings without all the calories. And if you have an air fryer, you can make them even crispier!
Healthy Main Courses Recipes

We love Mexican food, even better when it is healthy Mexican food! Stuff these with whatever you like, but I love the combo of chicken and vegetable.
The best turkey burger recipe ever, seriously. The zucchini keeps the turkey from drying out and adds so much flavor! Great on the grill or in a cast iron skillet.
More Mexican food, made healthy. This meal is one of my favorites and is great for customizing for picky eaters.

So much flavor in this recipe! I love caprese and the zucchini boats are the perfect holder for it instead of using carb heavy bread.
Salads and Soups
So many veggies in this salad and it is super filling without any meat. Top with a squeeze of lemon and lots of feta cheese!
Use light mayo and sour cream and this chicken salad will fill you up at lunch time. Serve in a lettuce wrap for an even healthier version.
I love soup this time of year and this lightened up creamy soup is so comforting. Top with a few croutons and you’ll be full!
The Instant Pot is my favorite place to make soup and this recipe is easy and delicious. It makes a great light dinner recipe on a cold night.
Healthy Dessert Recipes
There is a secret ingredient in these mini pies that adds tons of protein and texture, but not fat! Definitely my favorite healthy dessert recipe and is great for keeping in the fridge for when that sweet tooth hits!
Sometimes you just need a cookie. Make them healthier with this recipe that has great texture and lots of peanut butter flavor!
If you are trying to eliminate gluten but still need something sweet, this bread is relatively easy to make and tastes great. It’s a super clean recipe, too.
