Cuban Grilled Pork Chops is a super flavorful and unique way to dress up your classic pork chop recipe! Bone in pork chops are marinated in a super tangy marinade of lime juice, orange juice, garlic, and cilantro, then grilled to perfection with onions and peppers!

Marinated Grilled Cuban Pork Chops

Cuban Grilled Pork Chops are SO good and so unique and will make you excited about eating pork chops1 There is a funny story behind the inspiration for this recipe. I find recipe inspiration all over the place, tv shows, Pinterest, classic family recipes, but in this case, these Cuban Marinated Pork Chops were inspired by one of my students!

I am a Spanish teacher and do a food project every year. I had two students ask me if they could make an entire turkey, Cuban style, and bring to the class for extra credit, I laughed and told them of course, never thinking that they would ever make a whole turkey and bring to school!

Well, I was wrong. They made a cuban marinated whole roasted turkey and brought it to school. And guys, it was amazing. These two 15 year old knocked it out of the park! He shared the recipe with me and it was full of delicious flavors, orange and lime juice and tons of garlic.

I knew that their Cuban marinade flavors would be amazing on pork so I turned to my favorite pork brand from Walmart. Smithfield® is guaranteed tender and is always delicious and  fresh and I knew that this recipe would make a great quick weeknight meal. I used Smithfield All Natural Bone-In Pork Chops for this recipe but you could use boneless if you prefer!

Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork is guaranteed tender and never has artificial ingredients, preservatives, added steroids or hormones.  You can taste the quality and difference! Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork is great on the grill and so fast! It also means less dishes for you, which is great on a busy back to school weeknight! Their pork products are great in the Instant Pot, too! Check out my super popular Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin recipe for another fast weeknight meal! These pork products are so versatile and there are so many different ways to prepare them!

The peppers and onions add a delicious texture to this recipe and who doesn’t love grilled peppers and onions? I love to serve this meal over rice, or you could have potatoes on the side! These pork chops are best when marinated over night, but marinate for as long as you have time!

Smithfield’s guaranteed tender pork chops are the perfect vessel for my cuban marinade and I know that your family will love this simple, but flavorful recipe!
