Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Sliders are an amazing dinner recipe or perfect for entertaining! I haven’t met many people who don’t love buffalo chicken recipes, and when you put that delicious spicy chicken on a sweet Hawaiian roll, well then you have an incredible combination. Topped with some ranch dressing and green onion for some texture, this slider recipe may truly be my favorite sandwich ever! If you are looking for new Instant Pot Chicken Breast Recipes, then I have found an amazing one for you!
Boneless skinless chicken breasts don’t have the best reputation when it comes to producing amazing recipes, but I knew that the combination of my Instant Pot, buffalo sauce, and chicken breast, would be a match made in heaven. The key to delicious shredded chicken is to get that tender, fall apart texture and the Instant Pot makes shredding chicken easy!
I made these Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Sliders for dinner, but they would be amazing for easy entertaining. I have a formula for perfect party menu planning, and one of my key elements is always a meat based appetizer. Sliders are perfect for parties and they are even better when you can make them ahead of time. Just prepare your chicken in advance and then put them on the buns when you are ready to serve!
While you can certainly use any type of roll you would like, the sweet Hawaiian roll definitely makes this sandwich go from good to amazing. The hit of sweetness pairs perfectly with the tangy buffalo sauce. Feel free to add more hot sauce as desired. I was cooking for my kiddos, so I kept these sandwiches on the milder side. My husband hates blue cheese (he’s crazy!) but you could definitely add that to your sandwich if you are a fan! I think fresh bleu crumbles would be so tasty or even blue cheese dressing drizzled on top!
Use the same buffalo chicken to make Instant Pot Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Enchiladas too!

Ten Delicious Sandwich Recipes Perfect for Game Day
What kind of hot sauce do you use? 3/4 cup seems like a lot…for regular hot sauce….is there some that are milder than others?
I use Frank’s! The chicken just cooks in the sauce, it doesn’t’ all absorb into the chicken, so I don’t find it too spicy! You could definitely use less if you would like.
I am assuming that the liquid ranch dressing is to be drizzled on top of the chicken and cheese before you placed the green onions? This part seem to be eliminated from the directions.
oops, forgot that! Fixed it, thanks!!
Is this recipe time for frozen chicken? If not, how long should I cook if the breasts are frozen?
No, I used defrosted chicken. I would add about 5 minutes if they are in tender form or 10 minutes if its a big block of frozen chicken.
Can you double the recipe??
Yes!
I doubled the recipe. It was delicious.
I’m so glad you liked it!
Can you make this in a crockpot? Looks so delish!
