Cranberry Feta Pinwheels

November 9, 2017

Cranberry Feta Pinwheels are a little sweet, a little salty, and definitely delicious! You and your guests will love this easy appetizer recipe that is perfect for Christmas entertaining!

Over the last few years, these Cranberry Feta Pinwheels have been making their rounds around the Internet. And while I have seen a ton of different versions, this version is my mom’s, and she has been making them for as long as I can remember- definitely pre-Pinterest Days! She first made them for a church function almost 20 years ago, and they quickly became a favorite! I love that they are make ahead and are red, green, and white, so they look extra festive during this time of the year!

I am so excited to be participating this year in the 7th Annual Handmade Holidays Blog Hop hosted by my friend Jennifer from Smart Fun DIY! Have you seen all the wonderful Christmas crafts and recipes the other participants have been sharing? Check out the links at the bottom of this post to see all the wonderful Christmas ideas! There is also a super fun giveaway that you will want to enter!

Now if you don’t love feta cheese, you won’t love these pinwheels. And if you do love feta cheese like I do, then you will definitely fall in love with these little guys after just one bite! Super tangy feta cheese gets slightly sweetened by the cran-raisins, and the green onion adds just a little bite! I love to make these with spinach tortillas to make them even more festive, but you could use plain or even whole wheat!

Easy holiday entertaining recipes are my favorite and I love having a list go tos. I always try a new recipe or two each year, but I have some tried and trues that always make it into my holiday rotation! You cannot go wrong with this Peanut Butter Cup Dip and if you want to serve something savory, then I know your guests will love this Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Ranch Dip.

Holiday entertaining shouldn’t be stressful, so start saving these easy recipes now! You definitely can’t go wrong with these Cranberry Feta Pinwheels! This recipe is honestly fool-proof and the only crucial step is that you refrigerate for at least one hour. This allows the flavors to meld together and for the cream cheese mixture to “glue” the roll together. If you cut these too soon, they will unwrap. You can definitely refrigerate them longer, but I wouldn’t let them sit overnight.
