I have previously used potato chips to dip into my cold version of Loaded Baked Potato Dip, but I recently thought that french fries may be even more delicious! McCain® products are made with real potatoes and have an extra crispy exterior, so they are perfect for dipping and layering! The seasoned waffle fries are perfect in my BLT Loaded Waffle Fry Recipe!
I used the beer battered fries with this recipe because they are our favorite, but any variety would be great too! The Mashed Potato Smiles would really give you that baked potato taste! I think the crinkle cuts would be a perfect dipping receptacle as well!
How to Make Hot Loaded Baked Potato Dip?
This Loaded Baked Potato Dip is great because it uses minimal ingredients and can go in either the slow cooker or the oven. I love slow cooker dip recipes because you can make them ahead of time! Just heat up your McCain potato product before your guests arrive and you are set! For the slow cooker option, just add all your ingredients and cook on low for 2-4 hours, or speed up the process and set to high for 1 hour. You an also bake this in the oven for 35 minutes before serving.
