Grilled Cheeseburger Sliders
I love burgers any time of the year. Grilled in the summer, in a cast iron pan in the fall and winter, and every time in between! I love this mini version of the classic cheeseburger because then you get to eat more of the delicious sides! Pasta salad, potato salad, and all those delicious summertime salads! If you aren’t a salad person, then homemade french fries rounds out the meal perfectly, too!
Sliders are perfect for entertaining because you get more bang for your buck and can make more! They also cook faster than a traditional burger and you can spend less time cooking and more time mingling!
What type of meat to use for sliders?
When making burgers, it is best to use no leaner than 85/15 to ensure a juicy burger. I recommend using using hormone free, grass fed beef.
What to season burger meat with?
For every hamburger I make, I keep it simple and use salt, pepper, and garlic powder. For extra flavor, I like to add 1 tablespoon of my favorite steak sauce. When making burgers, you really don’t want to use fancy seasonings. Just cook them well and the meat will be the star!
How to make grilled hamburger sliders?
The trick to making sliders is two fold. One, you want to ensure that all your sliders are the same size to ensure even cooking. I do this by adding all my meat to a bowl and pushing it down evenly and then scoring it into equal pieces. The second tip is to indent the middle of the burger slightly to help prevent shrinkage.
These delicious Grilled Cheeseburger Sliders are the ultimate summertime burger! Serve these at a picnic or to your family for dinner and you will have happy campers around the table!
