Spicy Jalapeno Poppers with Buffalo Sauce and Bacon

This easy recipe for devilishly hot jalapeño poppers takes less than 2o minutes and is the perfect spicy and spooky snack for Halloween! I love jalapeno poppers and order them at restaurants every chance I get, but this spicy version is even better! Served with creamy ranch dressing to cool them down, you will love dipping these delicious poppers! Even better, these poppers get a dousing of bacon! Bacon makes everything better!

Spicy Jalapeno Poppers

When we moved to our new house a few years ago, we prepared for Halloween by buying a few bags of candy and setting out a few pumpkins. I will never forget the look on my husband’s face as we looked up the street and saw literally hundreds of kids running down the hill toward our house. We quickly learned that our street is the place to be for Halloween in our small town.

We actually learned that people drive to our neighborhood and park their cars and then go trick or treating here instead of in their own neighborhoods. Not only do hundreds of kids come around for candy, but our neighbors really pull out all the stops for decorating. Their yards are covered in decorations, there is spooky music playing, and one neighbor even grills in his front yard and hands out hotdogs and drinks to the adults. If there was a Halloween Central, we are definitely right in the middle of it.

Devilishly Hot Jalapeno Poppers

I really had to step my game up once I saw what a big deal Halloween is in our neighborhood! I now buy hundreds of pieces of candy (although 700 pieces wasn’t enough last year!) invested in some more decor, and we invite family and friends over to eat first at our house and then join in the trick or treating fun. Since trick or treat usually ends up on an school night, I wanted to serve some quick snacks for everyone to munch on. Farm Rich products are the perfect foods for serving when you want great flavors but are short on time. They are made from real ingredients and bake up fast! I love to have a variety of their products in my freezer for a quick afternoon snack or last minute entertaining appetizer.

I used their jalapeño peppers to create these devilishly hot jalapeño poppers. These are so easy…bake, toss in buffalo sauce, bake some more and then sprinkle on some bacon bits and serve with a dipping sauce of your choice! We used ranch because it’s kid friendly, but I think bleu cheese dressing would be delicious too! How cute is this little cauldron? I love it for dipping sauces!

I hope you are loving October as much as I am and am ready for the onslaught of holidays that are coming our way! These Devilishly Hot Jalapeno Poppers are the perfect way to ring in the Halloween holiday!

Those look so good. I think I’m going to do a bunch of appetizers like this for Halloween. We usually have people over for dinner first and then go out trick-or-treating. Our neighborhood is a lot like yours… people drive in for the evening. #client

We are hosting a pumpkin carving party later this month. Trying to keep the work to a minimum so we enjoy it. Definitely going to go out and look for these at the store. What a good idea!
