I can’t believe that we are already preparing for Easter. I am Orthodox, so we have not celebrated yet, but I hope you all had a wonderful day! I am definitely feeling the time crunch! I hardly have any spring decor out, desperately need to spring clean, and haven’t even considered an Easter menu! I love eating early on Easter and serving a big brunch instead of a sit down dinner. When cooking for a brunch, I love to mix traditional breakfast and lunch foods, with sweet and savory as well. These BBQ Ham Steak are the perfect main course to round out the menu and work seamlessly into a brunch menu or perfect for the day after Easter to use up leftovers!

The quality of the Hatfield products is great and I love the convenience of these ham steaks already being fully cooked. Once you throw them on the grill, you are basically just heating all the products up. You can skewer your kabobs the night before, keep in the fridge, and then grill right before guests come! If it is still too cold to grill in your area, you can cook these on an electric skillet or an indoor grill pan. I love that Hatfield is a family owned company that ethically raises their meats in the US. You know you are getting great quality with all of their products!
One of the trick parts of making any sort of kabob is to get everything to cook evenly. The ham steaks are precooked which is great, but you want to make sure you cut all your veggies in similarly sized pieces to ensure even cooking. My trick for including the potatoes is to purchase the convenient steam in bag red potatoes! Throw them in the microwave while you prepare your other ingredients and then add them once they are parboiled.
