We recently celebrated my little one’s third birthday with a fun taco theme birthday party! We had a blast eating tacos and decorating for our Mexican fiesta with a Taco ‘Bout a Birthday Party theme!
I know we all say it, but seriously, where does the time go? I feel like my baby was just born and here we are, already celebrating her third birthday! She LOVES tacos so a taco birthday party was a no brainer. I am always down for a Mexican fiesta, so I had so much fun planning and cooking for this party. The menu was simple and we did a taco bar with beef and chicken and then taquitos. I have the best ever chicken taco recipe and I will be sharing it soon!
What we ate at the Taco ‘Bout a Birthday Party!
Taco Party Menu:
Beef Taco Meat
Chicken Taco Meat
Taco Bar Fixings: Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Hard and Soft Shells, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Salsa
Chips and Salsa from our local Mexican restaurant
White Queso Dip
For dessert we kept it simple and ordered adorable taco cookies from my friend Carrie at Batter Bake Shop and my mom made an apple pie and a blueberry pan pie. I also made an absurdly good Fried Ice Cream Dessert that I could eat everyday its so good!
Taco Party Decorations
I used bright colors and borrowed a bunch of items from my Spanish Classroom! I also picked up a lot of colorful items from Walmart and of course, Amazon! We had a taco piñata and I gave out maracas to each kiddo, which they all loved!
I did have a melt down after I spent an hour on a tissue paper wall and it rained 🙁 I redid it and didn’t love it as much as the first attempt, but I had limited resources and time!
