$100 Room Challenge: Week Four!

$100 Room Challenge: A Little Girl's Room

If you haven’t been following along, we are making over our older daughter’s room, using only $100! It is week four and next week is the big reveal! Need to catch up? Here’s week 2 and week 3! (I missed week 1!)

Today’s post is going to be short and sweet! Next week is the reveal so I will share a lot more then! Don’t forget to check out all the other blogger’s posts linked up at the bottom of this post!

I was a little more productive this week than last and did a little more than just shop for the room! I got the new shelves spray painted, they just need hung now. Our walls are impossible to drill into, so I need Ryan’s help for that. Hopefully this weekend we can get them hung!

I also got an adorable nightstand for the room! This was 49.99 at HomeGoods but had a little crack in the leg so they came me 10% off! It is going to look so cute with a little bit of decoration on it!

The main progress this week is that the triangles are up on the wall! Guys, I can’t stress this enough. If you want to change the look of a room but don’t feel like painting, wall decals are where it’s at. These have made such an impact with not a ton of work!

I love Polka Dot Wall Decals. Their shapes go on so nicely and are so easy to adjust if you don’t like what you have done with them. I have rearranged this little wall about 10 times!

I have a lot I want to do this week to get the room finished and I can’t wait to show you guys how it turns out!

Budget:

Nighstand $45

Wall Triangles $19

Shelves $4.99

Spray Paint for Shelves $3

  1. Totally with you on the power of decals! I’ve used them a few times in my kids room and I love them, and we rent so they’re perfect 🙂
Love all the sneak peeks of this cute space, and great score on the table – it’s adorable.
