The Best Peanut Butter Cookies

June 30, 2014

The Best Peanut Butter Cookies are a cookie making game changer! With only four ingredients, you will never need another peanut butter cookie recipe, again!

The Best Peanut Butter Cookies are the only cookie recipe you need in your life, seriously. There are some recipes for me that after tasting them, they just blow me away. You know, those recipes that are just life-changing because they are so good and you cannot believe you have waited so long to try it. So let me just start by saying that these cookies are SO good, and most definitely the best peanut butter cookies I have ever had. So good in fact that the most popular topic of conversation in our house this week has been these cookies. Ryan, who usually is happy to take my creations into work to share, flat out refused to let these leave the house because he had no intention of sharing them with anyone.

Let me fill you in on why these truly are the best peanut butter cookies ever. Not only are they delicious, they are SO easy! Only 4 ingredients! And one of those is a cake mix! Anyone can make these, even people who aren’t normally bakers. I truly think these would be impossible to mess up.

So let me tell you a little more about these cookies. They are super soft and chewy. They almost have a fudgy like texture in the middle. If you are looking for light and fluffy, these will not fit the bill. If you want thick and chewy and magical cookies, then you need to make these ASAP.
Okay, enough talking about these cookies because I haven’t eaten one yet today and if I keep talking about it, I am going to have to sneak out to the kitchen to get some!
These are my first cake mix cookies and now that I know the texture a cake mix gives to cookies, I am going to try all different combinations! Have you tried cake mix cookies? I’d love to hear about them!

I have never heard of making PB cookies with a cake mix. I’ll have to try this out as I’m married to the cookie monster. This would be less mess in the kitchen instead of breaking out a dozen different ingredients. I found you via Bacon Time link up.

Can I use a white cake mix (I seem to have collected a lot of them) instead of the yellow cake mix?

    Could you add chocolate chips?

I don’t think this would be the best recipe to add chocolate chips to. The cookies are really soft and I think the weight of the chips may mess with the consistency!
