Our Main Bathroom Remodel and the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge Week 2!

Our Main Bathroom Remodel is coming along in week 2! The old vanity is gone and a lot of painting happened!! The walls went from a terrible too bright blue to a softer blue gray. The color is Benjamin Moore Nelson Blue. I love the softness it adds compared to the old, harsh color.

The biggest transformation is the white beadboard! The beadboard got a coat (more like four million coats) of Benjamin Moore White Dove. Looking at the pictures, I think I want to paint the trim now too. Our house is 115 years old and much of the wood in the house is original. I have a problem with painting original wood, but I think that the wood in the bathroom is newer than the rest of the house because it doesn’t have the same sheen. I am going to tackle painting the trim this week, I think! It will probably take a million coats too!

Finding a vanity that I loved was not easy. I needed something kid-friendly with lots of drawers. I love the shape and clean lines of this one, but am not loving the color. It is going to get painted too but I have no idea what color! Any thoughts? I don’t love the vanity top either, but wanted to use what we already had. I will probably pick up a new top.

I hung a mirror that we had, but I don’t think I love the tan tones against the white. I want this to be a super clean, bright space, so that may get switched out! HAH so apparently all the new stuff in the room I want to change, oh well!

New lights above the vanity! I love the matte black color and how they pop on the gray walls! We got them from Amazon and they were a great price and easy to install! Excuse the lighting, I had to take this photo at night! Sneak peak of the beautiful art work from Minted in the corner. The colors in this painting are going to pop against all the neutral tones!

The thing I am most excited to share with you this week is a sneak peak of the floor and shower tile!! This is just a quick phone picture, but isn’t it gorgeous?!

I want to get all the painting done before we make the major changes, which is installing the tile and the shower! Lots to do before we can get to that point!
