Before I became pregnant with my first daughter, I wasn’t really a dessert person, but by the end of the pregnancy, I was consuming dessert nearly every night! I love the chocolate cake on its own, but you really can’t beat the addition of peanut butter and ice cream! Once the cake is cooked, you top it with a scoop of peanut butter, ice cream, and then all your favorite sundae toppings! How perfect is that?
I call this dessert mini because it is individual sized, but it is definitely not small! This is seriously the perfect summertime treat! So many layers of chocolate, peanut buttery, ice cream goodness! I could use even more peanut butter, but you be the judge!

Mini Chocolate Cake Topped with Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sundaes
- 1 Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 Chocolate Lover's Cake Pouch
- 3 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. peanut butter syrup divided
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1-2 heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream
- whipped cream cherries, peanuts, etc. for topping
Drizzle 1 tbsp. peanut butter syrup around the edges of your mug. Then add the cake mix pouch and water. Stir well and cook as directed from the pouch directions.
Once cooked, push the scoop of peanut butter into the middle of the cake.
Let cake cool for 2 minute and then top with ice cream, peanut butter syrup and desired toppings.
