If you love the flavors of fall, then you need to make this Caramel Apple Pie Dessert Pizza. Crispy pizza crust layered with apple pie filling and caramel sauce makes for an easy and delicious apple dessert!
Caramel Apple Pie Dessert Pizza just may be my new favorite dessert. While I love pumpkin recipes, apple always gets the short end of the stick come fall time! While everyone is obsessing over their pumpkin spice lattes, the humble apple doesn’t get any love! But it should and this easy dessert recipe is definitely showcases just how yummy apples can be!
When I was younger, one of my favorite dinners was hitting up the Pizza Hut Buffet. After I stuffed myself on deep dish olive pizza, I always looked forward to getting a slice of their dessert pizza. I think they had both cherry and apple and it was sickeningly sweet but so yummy, or at least I thought it was yummy at the time! When trying to think up new apple recipes for this year, I thought back to those days of apple pie dessert pizza and knew that I could make a much more delicious version of that old restaurant favorite!
I used store bought apple pie filling for this recipe because it wasn’t quite apple season when I first made it, but it would be even more delicious with homemade. If you have a favorite recipe, definitely use that! But if you are short on time, or just don’t want to make homemade filling, the store bought stuff works fine!

Caramel Apple Pie Dessert Pizza is the perfect fall dessert. Pizza crust topped with delicious apple pie filling and drizzled with caramel! YUM!
For the pizza
- 2 mini thin pizza crusts
- 1 28 oz can apple pie filling you won't use all of it!
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
For the topping
- 5 tbsp butter cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 heapin tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp caramel sauce
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Put your pizza crusts on a baking sheet.
In a small mixing bowl, add your apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. Add a layer of apple mixture onto each pizza. You will have some apples remaining.
In another mixing bowl, add butter, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Either use a pastry blender, or two forks to cut in the butter. Combine until small clumps form. Split filling between both pizzas.
Put pizzas into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. If your pizza edges get too brown, make a tent with foil.
Remove from oven, and once completely cool, drizzle caramel sauce onto each pizza. Cut into triangles and serve at room temperature.
