Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffles

These delicious Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffles have fresh strawberry compote and a delicious peanut butter drizzle!

Ingredients

  • 8 Van's Gluten-Free Waffles
  • 1 cup strawberries diced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 5 tsp cream, milk, or half and half
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook waffles according to package instructions.

  2. In a small sauce pan, add strawberries, water, and sugar. Let cook over high heat, until boiling, about 10 minutes. After ten minutes, remove from heat and smoosh strawberries with a potato masher. Set aside.

  3. In another sauce pan, add peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, and cream. Whisk over medium low heat until peanut butter melts and is smooth. Set aside.

  4. Drizzle strawberries and peanut butter over each waffle and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
