The Best Peanut Butter Cookies are a cookie making game changer! With only four ingredients, you will never need another peanut butter cookie recipe, again!
The Best Peanut Butter Cookies are the only cookie recipe you need in your life, seriously. There are some recipes for me that after tasting them, they just blow me away. You know, those recipes that are just life-changing because they are so good and you cannot believe you have waited so long to try it. So let me just start by saying that these cookies are SO good, and most definitely the best peanut butter cookies I have ever had. So good in fact that the most popular topic of conversation in our house this week has been these cookies. Ryan, who usually is happy to take my creations into work to share, flat out refused to let these leave the house because he had no intention of sharing them with anyone.
Let me fill you in on why these truly are the best peanut butter cookies ever. Not only are they delicious, they are SO easy! Only 4 ingredients! And one of those is a cake mix! Anyone can make these, even people who aren’t normally bakers. I truly think these would be impossible to mess up.
The Best Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup peanut butter
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or non stick baking mats.
-
Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
-
Using an electric mixer, beat the ingredients until smooth, for 1-2 minutes. Batter will be very thick. Roll 1 tbsp. of batter into a ball and place on cookie sheet. Using a fork, indent each cookie, in both directions.
-
Cook for 10 minutes for soft, fudgy cookies or 12 minutes for a crisper cookie.

Thanks Shari!
I have never heard of making PB cookies with a cake mix. I’ll have to try this out as I’m married to the cookie monster. This would be less mess in the kitchen instead of breaking out a dozen different ingredients. I found you via Bacon Time link up.
You could whip these up so quickly for your Cookie Monster! They are absolutely delicious!
Oh these sound awesome! But now I’m stuck at work craving these!
Oh these look so yummy! I’m pinning these to the Creative K Kids Tasty Tuesday Board. thanks for pinning up with us.
Can I use a white cake mix (I seem to have collected a lot of them) instead of the yellow cake mix?
I haven’t tried it, but I don’t see why not! If you try it, please let me know how it turns out!
I made these delicious pb cookies last night. They r so good. I never have used a cake mix to make a cookie! I am so glad I found this recipe. Thank u for sharing!
Im so glad you liked them! I don’t make them often because we can eat the entire batch so quickly!!
How many does one batch make?
Hi Michelle! It really depends on how big of a scoop you use.i believe I got about 2 dozen.
Could you add chocolate chips?
I don’t think this would be the best recipe to add chocolate chips to. The cookies are really soft and I think the weight of the chips may mess with the consistency!
I added 1/4 c brown sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla, came out great!
I’m so glad you liked them!! Brown sugar and vanilla make everything extra delicious!
How long do these stay fresh?
Thanks!
3-5 days! or you can freeze them!
