If you haven’t jumped on the dessert dip train yet, what are you waiting for? Dessert dips are so easy to make and are way simpler than making a traditional dessert recipe. Admittedly, baking is not my favorite pastime, but I do enjoy something sweet at the end of a meal. I started serving dessert dips at parties years ago and will never look back!

What is Christmas Tree Cake Dip?

Well, just like so many other popular recipes this year, this dip recipe also comes from TikTok! But while I did not like the viral baked feta pasta recipe, this TikTok Christmas Tree Cake Dip is super good and so fun! It certainly isn’t healthy or going to win any fancy dessert awards, but it is indulgent and fun, just like holiday recipes should be! Love Viral Tiktok recipes? What dessert to make for a Christmas party?

I have a no-fail plan for you. Make one to two dessert dip recipes and a big platter of Christmas cookies (either homemade or bought from a bakery!) and you will have plenty to serve for dessert. After a heavy holiday meal, no one needs a heavy dessert!

What to dip in a dessert dip?

My favorite dippers for dessert dips are pretzels, graham crackers, and vanilla wafers. You actually want something a little salty to balance out the sweetness from the dip. You could also use fruit such as strawberries, or whatever it is season.

Tips and Tricks for Making Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Dip

  • Use chocolate snack cakes to switch up the flavor!
  • Only use room temperature cream cheese. If it is cold, it will form little balls in the dip mixture.
  • Don’t skip the step of chopping up the trees. It helps it blend better when mixing.
