I have previously used potato chips to dip into my cold version of Loaded Baked Potato Dip, but I recently thought that french fries may be even more delicious! McCain® products are made with real potatoes and have an extra crispy exterior, so they are perfect for dipping and layering! The seasoned waffle fries are perfect in my BLT Loaded Waffle Fry Recipe!
I used the beer battered fries with this recipe because they are our favorite, but any variety would be great too! The Mashed Potato Smiles would really give you that baked potato taste! I think the crinkle cuts would be a perfect dipping receptacle as well!

Just heat up your McCain potato product before your guests arrive and you are set! For the slow cooker option, just add all your ingredients and cook on low for 2-4 hours, or speed up the process and set to high for 1 hour. You an also bake this in the oven for 35 minutes before serving.

Is it my imagination or is this a potato recipe with no potato 🤔🤨🥴
The french fry dipper is the potato!
wonderfull article right here, can i share it?
Honestly, I was not expecting this to be this good. I mean it is relatively simple ~ bacon, cheese, etc…but I guess there is a reason that it is a classic combo. I just made this a little bit ago as an after school snack for the kids with an entire bag of waffle fries (which I doctored up a bit ~ we like things seasoned and spicy) and we ran out of fries and had to move on to potato chips to polish off the dip. Now I am feeding 5 children (4 out of 5 teenagers ) so next time I will double the recipe as this did not go very far in my house, but it is a keeper. A great hot snack or app when you are short on time or ingredients or that beloved moment when unexpected people stop over! (ugh…likely when there is laundry all over your living room or it was priority that last night’s episode of American Housewife took precedence over the dishes! 🙂 ). Good recipe; will definitely make again!
I’m so glad you and your kids liked it! It really is simple, but turns out to be so good!
Making this for the first time. A friend made it for a party and it is awesome.
I’m so glad you liked it!!
